32-year-old Marcello Bombardi has repeated 'La Fenice' on Rocca dei Campanili del Mongioie in NW Italy. Graded 8c max, 7c obligatory, this 150m multipitch was established and freed ground-up by Matteo Gambaro and Alessandro Cariga in 2021.

From 12 - 27 October 2025 the Russian mountaineers Natalia Belyankina, Kirill Eizeman, Sergey Kondrashkin, Vitaly Shipilov and Andrey Vasilyev established a new route on the southwest face of Manaslu (8163m).
