The Nose Speed Record, the Alex Honnold and Tommy Caldwell film teaser

di

The teaser of the new movie The Nose Speed Record which documents the speed record up El Capitan in Yosemite set by Alex Honnold and Tommy Caldwell.

It’s only 2 minutes long, in actual fact it’s the teaser of the film that lasts almost an hour and forms part of current Reel Rock 14 series, but these 120 seconds fully suffice to provide more than a concrete idea of the absolute commitment Alex Honnold and Tommy Caldwell required to set a new speed record on The Nose on El Capitan in Yosemite. After diverse attempts, in June 2018 the two American climbers successfully broke the legendary two-hour barrier, climbing the route in 1:58:07 and beating the previous record set in 2017 by Jim Reynolds and Brad Gobright. Honnold states the obvious "the main thing is that you shouldn’t fall off, ever."
