Adam Ondra: the trailer of Silence 9c at Flatanger in Norway

What will climbing be like in a hundred years time? Maybe in 2100 we’ll be climbing into a galaxy we don’t even know exists. Or perhaps climbing will be a virtual game: strap on your helmet and the sky’s the limit. In short, who knows what will remain of everything we’re experiencing now. But perhaps we can be certain of one thing: some stories will be hard to forget. LIke that of Silence, the world’s first 9c. It’s no secret, the route is that impossible line through the Flatanger cave in Norway. A grotto, grandiose and impossible, currently ruled by Adam Ondra. Perhaps in the next century "wonder Ondra", regardless of his Silence, will still be a mystery. Perhaps many will still wonder where the ET climber ever came from, who in just a few years has taken climbing difficulties… to the moon. Perhaps scholars will study his silences, his visions, and his invincible commitment to reach his aims. Perhaps because, as he himself states "Sometimes it's as if fun has to be deserved."
