On 17/08/2014 German alpinist Ines Papert made the first one day ascent of Ohne Rauch stirbst du auch 8a, a route established in 2010 by Hannes Pfeifhofer and Daniel Roger. The second free ascent was carried out by Austria's Lisi Steurer on 28/08/2014.

Anouck Jaubert and Libor Hroza win the Speed World Cup. Santoni is third while Hroza sets a new world record!
The IFSC Speed World Cup was won by France’s Anouck Jaubert and Czech climber Libor Hroza who, in his race to win gold, set a new world record stopping the clock after 5.73 seconds. Alessandro Santoni from nearby Riva del Garda finishes third.
