American climbers Matty Hong and Shawn Raboutou have climbed two difficult sport climbs in Spain: while the former has redpointed Fight or Flight at Oliana, the later has climbed First Ley at Margalef.

Slovenian climber Klemen Bečan has made the first ascent of Roctrip (8c+, 220 m). Located at Drašnice, this is now the hardest multi-pitch sports climb in Croatia.
