In July 2007 the Slovenians Marko Lukic and Andrej Grmovsek made the first ascent of 'Never give up' (VIII+/IX-, VIII+ obl., 500m) on the Pilastro on the Tofana di Rozes (Dolomites).

On 04/07/2007 Mauro 'Bubu' Bole and Gabriele Gorobey carried out the first free ascent of Donnafugata (750m; max 8a), first ascended by Christoph Hainz and Roger Schäli in 2004 on the S Face of Torre Trieste, Civetta, Dolomites.

On 15 July the Austrians Markus Haid and Hansjörg Auer carried out the first one day ascent of "Arctandria" (8b) on Blamann Wall, Norway.

On 6/07/07 Josune Bereziartu and Rikar Otegui made the first ascent of "El Ojo Critico", 400m trad 8a on the Pilar de Cotatuero, Ordesa National Park, Spain.

Last February Massimo Faletti, Mario Cavagnini, David Rigotti made the first ascent of "Malaria" on the Rhumsiki Tower, Cameroon

At the end of February Albert Leichtfried, Markus Bendler, Ines Papert and Audrey Gariepy travelled to Iceland to explore its potential in memory of their friend Harald Berger who died tragically in December 2006.

At the end of December a German team led by Stefan Glowacz and Kurt Albert travelled to Venezuela where it established "Fegefeuer" IX, a new 700m route on Akopan Tepui, 2200m.

From 21 - 26 January 2007 the Italians Elio Orlandi, Michele Cagol, Fabio Leoni and Rolando Larcher made the first ascent of "Osa ma non troppo", a 700m line up the E Face of Cerro Cota 2000 (Torres del Paine, Patagonia). A beautiful route, great company and a fantastic adventure...

On 26 December Luca Vuerich and Michele Martina made the first ascent of "Kiss or Kill" 800m, M6 up the NF of Cima Castrein (2502m) in the Jof Fuart mountain range.

In mid-July a five-man Austrian expedition comprised of Thomas Scheiber, Hansjörg Auer, Matthias Auer, Karl Dung and Ambros Sailer established two new routes in the Trango Valley, Karakorum, Pakistan, and repeated Woman and Chalk, first ascended in 2001 by Bubu Bole, Mario Cortese and Fabio Dandri.

On Thursday 26 October Rossano Libera and Ezio Marlier made a 12 hour first asscent of "Bocconi amari" up the north Face of Triangolo nero, Monte Emilius, Valle d'Aosta.

On 30 August Nicolas Favresse made the first ascent of "Lost in translation" a 400m, 10-pitch free climb (5.12b/c) on the East Face of El Capitan together with 30-year-old Ivo Ninov from Bulgaria.

From the end of July to 4 Spetember Mauro 'Bubu' Bole and Mario Cortese made the first ascent of Le nez (1300m, max 7c), on the north face of P.ta Croz, Grandes Jorasses, Mont Blanc.
