Markus Bendler (AUT) amd Woon-Seon Shin (KOR) have won the second stage of the Ice Climbing World Cup 2008 which took place in Busteni, Romania on 09-11/02/2008.

On 20/01/08 Simon Anthamatten and Petra Müller from Switzerland won the first stage of the Ice Climbing World Cup 2008 in Valle di Daone. Jenny Lavarda from Italy and Markus Bendler from Austria placed second.

The first stage of the Ice World Cup Difficulty and Speed takes place in Valle di Daone from 18 - 20 January 2008.

The Bouldering World Cup 2007 came to an end this weekend with the seventh stage in Brno, Czech Republic. Dmitry Sharafutdinov from russia and Juliette Danion won this final stage while second placed Kilian Fischhuber from Austria won the overall 2007 title together with Danion.

On 11/02 the third and final stage of the Ice Climbing World Cup took place in Busteni (Romania) and was won by Evgeny Krivosheitsev from the Ukraine and Jenny Lavarda from Italy.

On 03/02 Evgeny Kryvosheytsev and Jenny Lavarda won the second stage of the Ice World Cup 2007 in Saas Fee and in doing so also won the Ice Difficulty World Championships.

On Friday 16 January 2007 the five teams nominated for the award will present their ascent to the public and the (desired and prestigious) golden ice axe will be awarded to the "ascent of the year".
