The iconic multi-pitch climb 'Velebitaški' on Anića Kuk in the Paklenica National Park, Croatia, was illuminated on 15 June 2025 by the Velebit Mountaineering Club to celebrate its 75th anniversary. The 350m 6a+ was first ascended in autumn 1961 by Nedjeljko Jakić, Matija Mlinac and Davor Ribarov

Radoslav Groh and Zdeněk Hák have made the first ascent of the previously unclimbed southeast face of Hunza Peak (7300m) in the Karakorum, Pakistan. The two Czech mountaineers climbed alpine style ofver a period of 5 days at the start of June.

Kilian Moni reports about the first ascent of 'Sous l'œil d'Adèle' established on 18/05/2025 with Laetitia Chomette and Pierre Girot on the north face of Pointe Louise, Écrins massif, France. The 600m mixed climb above the Plate des Agneaux valley is graded 600m ED- 5/M5+.

French alpinist Arthur Poindefert has combined his love for music with climbing by playing his cello after repeating the famous 'Digital Crack' on the Grand Gendarme above Arête des Cosmiques on Aiguille du Midi in the Mont Blanc massif.

An American-French duo comprise of Kate Kelleghan and Laura Pineau has set the new women's speed record on the Naked Edge in the Eldorado Canyon, USA, simul-climbing the 150m route and making the round-trip to the bridge in 37 minutes 8 seconds.
