In July 2007 the Slovenians Marko Lukic and Andrej Grmovsek made the first ascent of 'Never give up' (VIII+/IX-, VIII+ obl., 500m) on the Pilastro on the Tofana di Rozes (Dolomites).

On 09/09/2007 Ramon Julian Puigblanque from Spain and Angela Eiter from Austria won Rock Master 2007. Flavio Crespi from Italy and Tomas Mrazek from the Czech Republic placed second and third respectively, as did Maja Vidmar from slovenia and Irati Anda Villanueva from Spain.

David Lama from Austria and Juliette Danion from France have won the European Bouldering Championship 2007, held in Birmingham (UK) last weekend. This is Lama's second big title: in 2006 he was crowned European Difficulty Champion.
