Italian skier Aldo Valmassoi completed the first ski descent of the north face of Cristallo di Mezzo in the Dolomites. Valmassoi reports.

On 10 May Andrzej Bargiel and Jędrek Baranowski climbed Laila Peak (6096m) in the Karakorum, Pakistan. Starting from about 150m below the summit, the two Polish mountaineers then descended on skis.

Two days ago at Andonno in Italy 27-year-old Marcello Bombardi made the third ascent of Lapsus, after Stefano Ghisolfi and Adam Ondra.

On the east face of Monte Colodri in Arco (Sarca Valley, Italy) Alessandro Beber and Matteo Pavana have established the multi-pitch rock climb Opera Buffa (270m, 7c+). Beber reports.

The report by Andrea Cozzini and Claudio Lanzafame who on 13 March 2021 in the Brenta Dolomites made what is likely to be the first complete ski descent of Cima Margherita face and the Merzbacher gully.

On 17 April 2021 Dylan Cunningham and Brette Harrington established Just a Nibble (M6R, 5.10-, WI5, 500m), a tenuous mixed climb up the virgin NE Face of Mount Niblock in Canada.

British mountaineers John McCune and Will Sim have climbed what is likely to be a new route to the left of Beyond Good and Evil on the North Face of Aiguille de Pélerins in the Mont Blanc massif. Above and Beyond has been graded ED M6 6b+.
