Adam Ondra climbs Abysse, 9a in the Gorges du Loup on 01/08/2007, Hot Chili beans Volcano 8b+ on-sight on 02/08/2007, Speed 8c+ at Voralpsee on 03/08/2007 and makes a one-day repeat of Silbergeier 8b+, Rätikon, Switzerland on 27/07/2007

On 15 July the Austrians Markus Haid and Hansjörg Auer carried out the first one day ascent of "Arctandria" (8b) on Blamann Wall, Norway.

On 17/7 Florian and Martin Riegler carried out a rare repeat of the Via Camillotto Pellesier on the N Face of Cima Grande di Lavaredo (Dolomites).

On 6/07 the Slovenian mountaineers Pavle Kozjekande Gregor Kresal made the first ascent of Stonehenge (VII+/VI, 70/50° ice, 600m), up the East face of Puscantrupa Este (5410m), Cordillera Huayhuash, Peru.

On 03 July Barbara Raudner redpointed her second 8c, "Selbst ist das Kind" 8c at Austria's Adlitzgräben.

On 6/07/07 Josune Bereziartu and Rikar Otegui made the first ascent of "El Ojo Critico", 400m trad 8a on the Pilar de Cotatuero, Ordesa National Park, Spain.

On 07/06/2007 Stephan Siegrist, Thomas Senf and Denis Burdet carried out first ascent of Lightning Strike (VI M5 5.9 A3 1000m) up the NE Face of Arwa Tower (6352m), Garhwal Himalaya, India.

On Tuesday 5th June Dave Birkett made the second ascent of The Brothers Karamazov E9 6c at St Govan’s Head in Pembroke, Wales.
