Jorg Verhoeven and his Never Ending Climbing Projects
35-year-old Dutchman Jorg Verhoeven explains three of his most recent climbing projects

Jorg Verhoeven is one of best all-round climbers of his generation. He flashed 8c way back in 2006 and won the Lead World Cup in 2008, after which his climbs have spanned the spectrum from intense boulders such as the 8C Wheel of Life at Hollow Mountain Cave in Australia’s Grampians, to repeats of huge big walls such as The Nose (5.14) and Dihedral Wall (5.14) on El Capitan in Yosemite and even ascents in the mountains such as the Peutérey Integral on Mont Blanc. The 35-year-old Dutchman shows no signs of slowing down and while 9b is his stated aim, he also has diverse projects on the boil such as these three in the video below.
