Guido Giacomelli and Hansjoerg Lunger, and Roberta Pedranzini and Francesca Martinelli have won the 13th edition of the Sellaronda ski mountaineering competition. 720 athletes competed in this classic night ski mountaineering marathon in the Dolomites, cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd.

On 11/02 the third and final stage of the Ice Climbing World Cup took place in Busteni (Romania) and was won by Evgeny Krivosheitsev from the Ukraine and Jenny Lavarda from Italy.

On 03/02 Evgeny Kryvosheytsev and Jenny Lavarda won the second stage of the Ice World Cup 2007 in Saas Fee and in doing so also won the Ice Difficulty World Championships.

In a thrilling final Jenny Lavarda and Markus Bendler have won the first stage of the Ice Climbing World Cup 2007 in Valle di Daone, Italy.

From Friday 19 January to Sunday 21 January the most famous international ice climbing competition in the world, the Ice Master World Cup, will take place in Italy's Valle di Daone.

Patxi Usobiaga and Angela Eiter win the Climbing World Cup Lead 2006. David Lama and Maja Vidmar win final stage in Kranj.

The European Bouldering Championship 2006 has been cancelled due to insufficient safety measures.

On 17/06 Jerome Meyer and Juliette Danion from France won the fifth stage of the Bouldering World Cup2006 in Fiera di Primiero (TN).
