The Bouldering World Cup 2007 came to an end this weekend with the seventh stage in Brno, Czech Republic. Dmitry Sharafutdinov from Russia and Juliette Danion won this final stage while second placed Kilian Fischhuber from Austria won the overall 2007 title together with Danion.

The seventh stage of the World Cup Lead was held in Valence (Fra) last weekend and was won by Patxi Usobiaga from Spain and Maja Vidmar from Slovenia.

Pray for Ice, the pre-season drytooling competition takes place in Innsbruck, Austria on 18/11/2007.

All the best athletes have qualified for Saturday's Semifinal in the Lead World Championship 2007 in Aviles, Spain.

On 09/09/2007 Ramon Julian Puigblanque from Spain and Angela Eiter from Austria won Rock Master 2007. Flavio Crespi from Italy and Tomas Mrazek from the Czech Republic placed second and third respectively, as did Maja Vidmar from Slovenia and Irati Anda Villanueva from Spain.

On 25/08 Marco Olmo from Italy won the 5th edition of the Ultra Trail Tour du Mont Blanc, from Chamonix back to Chamonix via Courmayeur, beating Jens Lukas from Germany and Nicolas Mermoud from France. The women's event was won by Nikki Kimball from the USA.

On 12/05/07 David Lama and Angela Eiter won the first stage of the Climbing Worldcup Lead 2007 held in Imst, Austria.

On 29/05 the Swiss-Italian trio comprised of Giacomelli - Pellissier - Troillet won the XVI Mezzalama, the most challenging ski mountaineering race in the world. The women's event was won by the extraordinary Martinelli - Pedranzini - G.Pellissier, who in doing so also set a new course record.

On 28/04/2007 Kilian Fischhuber from Austria and Olga Shalagina from the Ukraine won the third stage of the IFSC Bouldering World Cup 2007.

Dennis Brunod and Manfred Reichegger win the XIII Tour du Rutor. Gloriana Pellissier and Laetitia Roux win the women's event.
