New rock climb on Cerro Walwalun, Cochamó Valley, Chile In February 2013 the Italian climbers Lorenzo Lanfranchi, Mirko Masè, Simone Pedeferri, Mattia Tisi and Andrea Zaffaroni made the first ascent of Perdidos en el Mundo (870m, 23 pitches, 7b+, 6c+ obligatory) up the north face of Cerro Walwalun in Cochamo valley in Patagonia, Chile. The first King of Dolomites freeride and snowboard photo contest which took place last weekend at San Martino di Castrozza (Dolomites) was won by Brian Goldstone, Jose Carròn and Paolo Marazzi in the Pro category. Maurizio Fasano and Vittorio Trinca Colonel won the Wannabes category.

Ski Mountaineering World Championships 2013: the Vertical and Relay race The Ski Mountaineering World Championships 2013 finished yesterday with the Relay race. The men's event was won by Switzerland ahead of Italy and France, while the Women's event was won by France ahead of Italy and Switzerland. The Vertical race was won by Kilian Jornet Burgada and Laetitia Roux.

Ski Mountaineering World Championships 2013: French win Individual gold Bon Mardion William and Laetitia Roux from France won the Individual race yesterday at the Ski Mountaineering World Championships 2013.
