On 05/02/2025 manuele Andreozzi and Stefano Falezza made the first ascent of the mixed climb 'A State Of Trance' on the north face of Cima Busazza in the Adamello – Presanella group of the Italian alps.

The 18th edition of Melloblocco — the world’s largest bouldering — came to a close yesterday in Val Masino – Val di Mello, Italy. Four days of climbing and festivities in the valley drew over 2,300 registered participants and 8,000 attendees.

On 05/04/2025 Philipp Brugger from Austria and Nicolas Hojac from Switzerland climbed the north faces of Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau in 15 hours 30 minutes. The previous record along the same three climbs was set by Ueli Steck and Stephan Siegrist in 2004 in 25 hours.

On 12/04/2025 Simon Gietl completed the solo first ascent of 'Lumina' (M7 A0, 300m) on the NE Face of Wildgall / Collaspro 3273m, (Rieserferner Group, Tauern alps). The 40-year-old mountain guide from South Tyrol, Italy, reports about his mixed climb up this "wonderfully beautiful pillar."

This April French alpinists Benjamin Védrines and Léo Billon climbed the three great north faces of the alps in less than a week. Védrines enchained the Eiger, Matterhorn and Grandes Jorasses without using motorised transport.

Interview with François Cazzanelli who on 7 March 2025 teamed up with Giuseppe Vidoni to make the first ascent of 'Bianco Invisibile' (800m, 6c, M7, AI5) on the east face of Aiguille Blanche de Peuterey (4112m) in the Mont Blanc massif. The route ends at the col at 3900m.

On the west face of Cerro Piergiorgio in Patagonia, Italian alpinists Matteo Della Bordella, Dario Eynard, and Mirco Grasso have completed Gringos Locos. The route was first attempted in 1995 by Maurizio Giordani and Luca Maspes, who had managed to climb more than three-quarters up the face.

From 17 to 21 February 2025, French climber Benjamin Védrines completed a solo winter ascent of the BASE route on the West Face of the Drus in the Mont Blanc massif.
