Italian alpinists Matteo Della Bordella, Luca Ducoli, Mirco Grasso and Giacomo Mauri departed two days ago for K7 in Pakistan. The four will attempt to open a new route on the east face of K7 Main (6934m).

Over four days in April 2026, Christoph Hainz opened 'Marmotta Volante' on the Torre Grande in Falzarego (Dolomites, Italy). A 'fine climb comprising 11 pitches' with difficulties up to 6b.

On 7 March 2026, Greek climbers Stefanos Karantinakis and Spyros Kyriakou established the new mixed climb 'Crème Brutalée' (550m, AI5 M4+) on the north face of Astraka in the Pindus mountains of Greece. Kyriakou reports.

On 7 March 2026 Radoslav Groh from the Czech Republic and Juraj Koreň from Slovakia made the first ascent of the mixed climb 'Kaiser Direct' (500m, M7) up the south face of the Grossglockner, at 3798m the highest mountain in Austria. Koreň reports.
