Over a period of three cold days at the end of April and beginning of May, Simon Kehrer and his wife Marta Willeit opened a new route on the south face of Piccolo Lagazuoi, in the Fanis group of the Dolomites.

Named Bio Rock, the 235‑metre route climbs the section of the wall immediately to the left of Valerio Giordano (Massimo da Pozzo, Giordano Riello, Perla Riello, Michele Titton 08/2023), with difficulties up to 6c max and 6a+ obligatory across its seven pitches.

Established ground-up, the route is protected with bolts and numerous threads. According to the South Tyrolean mountain guide, it is "very likely a small gem on the Lagazuoi, with superb rock and a south‑facing aspect."
