On 14 March 2024 the Italian climber Luca Bana repeated 'A Present for the Future', a 9a+ in the G-rota sector close to the historic crag Madonna della Rota crag in Valle dell'Opol (Brescia), freed in 2010 by Adam Ondra.

On 10/03/2024 the 20-year-old Italian climber Iris Bielli repeated 'Prinzip Hoffnung', the famous trad climb on the Bürser Platte, Austria, freed in 2009 by Beat Kammerlander.

At La Pedriza in Spain, British rock climber Shauna Coxsey climbed 'Fotofobia Sit' (8b+/V14+).

On 24 December 2023 Andrea Locatelli made the first ascent of 'Il bombarolo', a sport climb close to Bergamo in Italy route for which the 13-year-old climber has suggested the grade 8c+.

On 06/10/2023 German climber Alexander Megos climbed 10 routes from 8b to 8c in 10 hours in the Frankenjura, Germany. To add to the challenge, he used an e-bike to reach each route.
