In February 2012 George Ullrich (UK), Sam Farnsworth (UK) Siebe Vanhee (Belgium) and Mason Earle (USA) established Kids With Guns (5.13a, A3, E6 6c) a new climb up the Amuri Tepui mountain in Venezuela.

In summer 2011 the Swiss climbers Jürgen Bissig, Jvan Tresch, Pascal Siegrist and the photographer Robert Boesch established "Out of Space (600m 8a+/A1) on Chalchschijen in Switzerland.

A team comprised of Ines Papert, Rudi Hauser, Lukas Seiwald, Kurt Astner, Emanuele Ciullo, Thomas Senf and Scott Milton has just returned from the Romsdalen region in Norway where they repeated a series of routes and made the first ascents of a number of important new ice climbs.

Better late than never: in February 2011 the German climbers Frank Kretschmann and Mario Gliemann established Der Grantler (230m, 6b) up Cerro Trinidad Sur in the "Yosemite of Chile", the Cochamo Valley.
