Iker Pou, Eneko Pou and Manu Ponce have made the first ascent of Andean Kingdom (800m, 7a+), the first route up the North Face of Cashan West (5,686m) in the Cordillera Blanca mountain range of the Andes, Peru.

Climbing alpine style, the 46-year-old Russian-Polish mountaineer Denis Urubko has forged a new route up Gasherbrum II (8032m) in Pakistan.

On Mt. Neunerspitze (Sasso delle Nove) in the Fanes group of the Dolomites, Michael Kofler, Manuel Gietl and Florian Wenter have completed the first ascent of Somnium, a new multi-pitch rock climb with difficulties up to 7a. Kofler reports.
