On 15/04/2025 Nasim Eshqi and Sina Heidari completed the first ascent of 'End Child Marriage' on Punta Cusidore in Sardinia, Italy. The climb is the third in Eshqi's ongoing project 'When Mountains Speak', which uses climbing as a platform to amplify human rights issues, with a focus on women’s rights.

At the Rive Gauche of the Argentière Glacier (Mont Blanc), Massimo Faletti and Enrico Lovato have established 'Volevo essere un duro'. Lovato's report details this challenging and stunning mixed climb located in the Highlands sector, repeated the same day by Davide Cattani and Claudio Marchetti.

On 10/04/2025 on the NE Face of Mont Greuvettaz (3684m) in the Triolet basin of the Mont Blanc massif Italian alpinists François Cazzanelli and Giuseppe Vidoni made the first ascent of the mixed climb 'Combo' (600m, AI5, M6).

An all-woman team comprised of Julia Cassou, Rocío Rodríguez Guiñazú, Fay Manners, Caroline North and Belén Prados spent five weeks in Northern Patagonia's Río Turbio IV valley, where they made the first ascent of 'Apollo 13' on the previously unclimbed El Cohete peak. Manners reports.

Luca Vallata reports about a climbing trip to the Hoggar massif in Algeria. With Richard Felderer and Federico Martinelli the trio repeated and established several routes; the standout climb was the first ascent of 'Les Hommes Bleus' on Dôme de l'Éléphant in the Tesnou group.

Swiss alpinists Filippo Sala, Roger Schäli, and Silvan Schüpbach have opened 'Luce e Tenebre', a spectacular new route on the north face of Punta Pioda, also known as Pioda di Sciora in Switzerland.

Interview with François Cazzanelli who on 7 March 2025 teamed up with Giuseppe Vidoni to make the first ascent of 'Bianco Invisibile' (800m, 6c, M7, AI5) on the east face of Aiguille Blanche de Peuterey (4112m) in the Mont Blanc massif. The route ends at the col at 3900m.

In early February 2025 the Italians Domenico Mottarella and Marco Zanchetta made the first ascent of "El Diedro de lo Squalupo" in the Cochamó Valley in Chile. The climb is located at Sector de Mamón in the La Paloma valley.

On 24/02/2025 Swiss mountaineer Filippo Sala established a new climb, solo, up the north face of Pizzo San Giacomo (2923) in Switzerland. This is believed to be the first winter climb on the imposing rock pyramid.

From 18 - 20 February 2025 French alpinists Léo Billon and Enzo Oddo made the first ascent of 'Les Barbares 3' on Pré de Bar in the Mont Blanc massif.

Basque mountaineers Tasio Martin and Ibon Mendia have established two new lines in Patagonia this season: Erresistentziara Kondenatuak on Torre Norte del Paine and 'Dardara' on Aguja Mermoz. Martin reports.

On the north face of Cima Busazza in the Adamello – Presanella group, Emanuele Andreozzi and Silvestro Franchini have made the first ascent of Tomas. The new mixed climb is dedicated to Silvestro's brother, Tomas Franchini, who perished last summer on Mount Cashan in the Cordillera Blanca, Peru.
