On 20 June French alpinists Léo Billon and Enzo Oddo made the first ascent of a 700m line on the West Face of Aiguille du Plan in the Mont Blanc massif. The new route, called OSS ne répond plus.. starts to the left of Pilier Septientrionale, more ocmmonly referred to as the Bonington route and put up by Chris Bonington and Lito Tejada-Flores in 1965, shares a large portion of its central section before breaking out right and continuing more steeply to the summit.

GMHM member Billon and Oddo roped up where necessary and simul-climbed the easier sections; after having taken the cable car from Chamonix earlier that morning, they managed to make it across the Plan-Midi ridge and return to Aiguille du Midi at 17:00. The pair used trad gear and no gear was left in-situ. The name of the climb is a nod to their friends Max Bonniot and Pierre Labbre, who perished on the Bonington route in November 2019.
