Slovenia's Domen Škofic has climbed an 8a on the wings of a glider at an altitude of 2500m.

Polish ski mountaineer Andrzej Bargiel has become the first person in the world to climb and then make a complete ski descent of Mount Everest (8,849m) without supplementary oxygen. The 37-year-old skied the mountain's south face and stopped for the night at Camp II.
