On 16/09/2007 the South Tyroleans Martin and Florian Riegler made the first free ascent of Zurück in die Zukunft - Ritorno al futuro (X-), the route they had first ascended on 18 August 2007 on the north face of Torre Putia, in the Puez-Odle group in the Dolomites (Italy).

On 09/09/2007 Ramon Julian Puigblanque from Spain and Angela Eiter from Austria won Rock Master 2007. Flavio Crespi from Italy and Tomas Mrazek from the Czech Republic placed second and third respectively, as did Maja Vidmar from Slovenia and Irati Anda Villanueva from Spain.

The second edition of the ARCO ROCK LEGENDS took place in Arco (Trentino, Lake Garda, Italy) on 07/09/07. Patxi Usobiaga from Spain won the second SALEWA ROCK AWARD while David Lama from Austria won the LA SPORTIVA COMPETITION AWARD.
