American filmmaker Fred Padula has launched an appeal to raise funds to digitally restore the classic, award winning climbing film El Capitan.

The Tor des Geants 2012 was won by Oscar Perèz (Spain) and Francesca Canepa (Italy). The race along the Valle d'Aosta paths at the foot of Mont Blanc (330km and 24.000 elevation gain) was completed by 392 athletes.

The results of the Rock Master International Open Lead: Malamid, Fakhritdinova, Dufraisse, Rosero, Kremer and Primozic, Becan, Reffo, Ravanal and Camacho all qualify for the legendary Rock Master.

From 10:00 today the Rock Master Festival continues at the Arco Climbing Stadium with the International Paraclimbing Cup.
