From 4 - 6 April 2013 Cortina d'Ampezzo, the pearl of the Dolomites, will host the Freeride Challenge Punta Nera 2013, a three day event dedicated to freeride skiing, ski mountaineering and climbing with the special boulder contest.

The second international congress entitled “New Advances in Mountain Medicine and Emergency” will be held at the Atahotel in Varese on April 18th and 19th, 2013, organised by the Università degli Studi dell’Insubria in collaboration with the Institute of Mountain Emergency Medicine, part of the EUR.AC of Bolzano.

2/09/2012. At the Arco Climbing Stadium Alex Pucciogtom America won the Rock Master Boulder 2012, beating Melissa Le Neve (Fra) and Katharina Saurwein (Aut). Russia's Dmitrii Sharafutdinov won the men's event by beating his teammateRustam Gelmanov and Slovenia's Klemen Becan.

On Friday 31/08/2012 during the VII edition of the Arco Rock Legends Sasha DiGiulian won the Salewa Rock Award, while Anna Stöhr received the La Sportiva Competition Award. Stefan Glowacz was awarded with the Climbing Ambassador by Aquafil prize.
