As reported previously, Dave MacLeod got his Scottish winter climbing season off to an early start last December with the first ascent of the highly aesthetic Nevermore on Ben Nevis with Iain Small. A fortnight later he followed this up with two first winter ascents of summer rock climbs in the Glen Coe area: Tarbh Uisge (IX,8) at Stob Coire Nam Beit with Helen Rennar, and Rose Innominate (IX,9) on Aonach Dubh with Andy Nelson. Here’s the footage of these ascents.
