Chris Wright (USA/UK) and Graham Zimmerman (USA/NZ) have made the first ascent of a long, difficult mixed route on the North Face of Mount MacDonald in the Selkirk Mountains in British Columbia, Canada. 1000 meters long, the Indirect American was climbed from 11 - 13 November 2018 and deals with difficulties up to WI4+ M7.

Leo Houlding and Will Stanhope climb the three Howser Towers at the Bugaboos in Canada in 23 hours and 30 minutes. The link-up consisted of 2,000m of climbing up to 5.12+ (7b/7b+). This is the first time the three towers have been enchained in a day.
