Climbing Technology

Children are instinctively attracted to conquering the highest points, be it a tree, a boulder or a peak, they always want to achieve their "goal". Climbing is a fun sport that has many benefits during growth for children: it improves balance, mobility and develops self-esteem and awareness. CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY has developed some equipment specifically designed for teenagers and children so that they can have fun on the rock, in the climbing gym or at an adventure park with their families and friends.

CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY DYNO and JOY
DYNO and JOY are seat harnesses - in orange/blue for boys and cyclamen/green for girls, respectively - that CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY has designed for the mountaineering and rock-climbing endeavours of those young climbers with a weight over 30 kg and not exceeding 145 cm in height. Fully adjustable, these harnesses will keep fitting as the children grow. Three buckles allow quick and easy adjustment of waist belt and leg loops, for optimal fit no matter the child's size and the clothing the season requires. Thanks to the floating waist belt and leg loops - providing a wide range of adjustments - putting the harness on has never been so easy - while also ensuring its ideal centring over the body and the optimal load distribution during suspension. The harness is lined with quick-drying, breathable mesh to ensure maximum comfort even during the hottest days and prolonged use; in addition, the lower tie-in point is equipped with a wear indicator to help determine when the harness is worn out and needs to be retired. Equipped with two wide gear loops and a rear loop for the chalk bag, DYNO and JOY harnesses are fitted with a neon yellow belay loop that is easily recognizable to reduce the risk of incorrect use. The harness is available in two colour schemes.
Warnings: Children's harnesses should never be used without the supervision of an adult. Before using the equipment, make sure that the dimensions of waist belt and leg loops are adequate for the child's size. If in doubt about the size, or if the child has little pronounced hips, use a full-body harness for children (e.g. mod. Flik).

CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY FLIK
Fully adjustable harness for children 95 to 140 cm tall, weighing less than 40 kg. FLIK, designed by CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY specifically for young climbing enthusiasts, can be used for rock climbing, in indoor climbing centres and adventure parks. Easily donned and adjusted, it is equipped with two fixed attachment points, front and rear, easily recognizable thanks to their distinctive colours. The immovable attachment point on the front of FLIK, orange in colour, does not require the use of a connector to stay closed and allows the child to keep the harness on and move unhindered. The rear attachment point, blue in colour, is suitable for rock climbing, but it can also be used in other play and recreation activities. Thanks to a structured design, CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY FLIK can be quickly and easily put on and taken off: the ergonomic shape guarantees maximum freedom of movement, while the padding over the contact points and the edges made of soft fabric provide optimal comfort. FLIK is designed to help the child and facilitate the task of wearing it: the leg loops, for instance, are in different colours and therefore easier to recognize; moreover, they are fixed and joined by an elastic band that prevents overturning. CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY FLIK harness also features a gear loop that is a lot of fun for the child to clip and unclip all sorts of tools and accessories used for climbing.

CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY ECLIPSE
The ECLIPSE helmet is CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY’s multi-purpose and ventilated helmet, designed to ensure greater head protection. It is ideal for mountaineering, ice climbing, climbing, canyoning and via ferrata. It features a hybrid structure consisting of an ABS outer shell and an EPS inner shell; the lower profile is shaped to increase the impact protection area while the outer shell is impact and scratch proof. Thanks to its shape, the ECLIPSE helmet is stable on the head and reduces bulk during use and is one of the most ventilated helmets on the market. The webbing headband adjustment system is symmetrical and enables simple size adjustment which sits nicely inside the shell. The fabric construction of the headband system makes it breathable, durable and easily replaceable. The GALAXY helmet has a washable and non-absorbent internal padding. It is equipped with four clips to insert a headlamp or ski goggles and its circumference is adjustable from 48 to 56 cm.
