David Göttler, Tiphaine Duperier & Boris Langenstein have carried out an alpine style ascent of Nanga Parbat (8126m) via the Rupal Face. The German descended the mountain by paraglider, while the French duo completed a ski descent.

On the north ridge of Vierge du Flambeau (3244m) in the Mont Blanc massif Filip Babicz and Heike Schmitt have made the first ascent of 'La Tête du Dragon' (7a, 280m). Babicz reports.

Barbara Zangerl and Jacopo Larcher have made the first free ascent of 'Next Generation' in the Rätikon massif. Located on the Zwölferkopf West Face, this 170m alpine sport climb was established by Christian Fritz, Pio Jutz, Klaus Müller and Christof Thaler in 2018 and now goes free at 8b+.

On 15/04/2025 Nasim Eshqi and Sina Heidari completed the first ascent of 'End Child Marriage' on Punta Cusidore in Sardinia, Italy. The climb is the third in Eshqi's ongoing project 'When mountains Speak', which uses climbing as a platform to amplify human rights issues, with a focus on women’s rights.

On 10/04/2025 on the NE Face of Mont Greuvettaz (3684m) in the Triolet basin of the Mont Blanc massif Italian alpinists François Cazzanelli and Giuseppe Vidoni made the first ascent of the mixed climb 'Combo' (600m, AI5, M6).

This April French alpinists Benjamin Védrines and Léo Billon climbed the three great north faces of the Alps in less than a week. Védrines enchained the Eiger, Matterhorn and Grandes Jorasses without using motorised transport.
