On 27 June 2025, Luca Fois embarked on '86 Dolomites', the ambitious project to link all 86 peaks over 3,000 meters in the Dolomites in a single continuous effort. The 40-year-old Italian is joined by a team of experts comprised of Giuseppe Obinu, Emanuele Chessa and Michael Turconi.

Alpinists Simon Kehrer and Hubert Eisendle from the South Tyrol, Italy, have made the first ascent of 'La Gana tla Pera' on the south face of Neunerspitze / Sasso delle Nove in the Dolomites.

On 28/11/2020 the two mountain guides Manuel Baumgartner and Simon Kehrer made the first ascent of Aurona, a new mixed climb up the north face of Sas dle Diesc (Sasso delle Dieci), Fanes, Dolomites. Baumgartner reports.
