On the Southwest face of Mount Gulba in Georgia's Caucasus mountains a women's expedition comprised of Elena Barbist, Elisabeth Mayr, Elena Prem, Hannah Rabl, Jana Scheiring and babsi vigl has made the first ascent 'Pferderennen02'. The September 2025 expedition was the final stage of the Austrian Alpinkader program. Mayr reports.

Alpinists Simon Messner and Martin Sieberer, after a first attempt by Messner and Barbara Vigl, have established 'La vita è bella', a new rock climb on Lagazuoi Nord in the Dolomites.
