Jain Kim and Hyunbin Min win the 7th stage of the Lead World Cup 2012 held in Mokpo, south korea.

The sixth stage of the Lead World Cup 2012 took place in Xining, China on 12-13/10/2012 and was won by Johanna Ernst from Austria and Sean McColl from Canada. Stefano Ghisolfi placed third, putting Italy back on the podium after many years absence.

At 18:18 local time Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner from Austria reached the summit of K2. In doing so she has become the first woman in the world to climb all fourteen 8000m peaks without the use of supplementary oxygen.

The first stage of the Ice Climbing World Cup took place in Cheongsong, Korea, on 8 and 9 January 2011 and was won by Markus Bendler from Austria and Maria Tolokonina from Russia. The Speed event was won by the Russians Maxim Tomilov and Irina Bagaeva.
