      Fredrik Ericsson, fatal accident on K2      On 6 August Fredrik Ericsson fell to his death from the Bottleneck  on K2. The Swedish alpinist was climbing with Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner from austria who descended safely to Base Camp.  Kaltenbrunner's husband Ralf Dujmovit provides the details about the accident.

      Tingeling, new link-up on Blamann by Hansjörg Auer & Much Mayr      The Austrians Hansjörg Auer and Much Mayr have established Tingeling (400m 7c+), a new free enchainment up the massive granite Blamann tower on the island of Kvaløya in Norway.       Arco Rock Legends 2010 to Manolo, Ondra & Noguchi      On Saturday 18/07/2010 the V Arco Rock Legends was celebrated in the Arco Climbing Stadium. Adam Ondra received the Salewa Rock Award while Akiyo Noguchi won the La Sportiva Competition Award. Maurizio Manolo Zanolla received the Sector Climbing Award, a new prize created by the Rock Master association.
