Michał Czech and Wadim Jabłoński from Poland, together with Adam Kaniak from Slovakia, have made the the first ascent of Chumik Kangri (6,754m) in the Karakoram, Pakistan.

On 26/09/2025 French alpinists Nicolas Jean and Benjamin Védrines made the first ascent of Anidesh Chuli (6808m) in Nepal. The pair climbed the mountain's North ridge in a single day, as acclimatisation for their main project, the huge East Face of Jannu.

On 11 August Janina Reichstein and Luisa Deubzer repeated 'Headless Children' (8b, 250m) on Schijenfluh, Rätikon. The pair made an ecopoint ascent, travelling to the mountain to work the route by train, bus and hitchhiking. Deubzer reports.
