I had been eyeing the Covelo wall for a while - always beautifully sunny, it's a fantastic spot overlooking the entire Sarca valley. Perfect for a little project in the mid-seasons and in winter.

After our short trip to the Verdon, we decided to open a route together, as a continuation of that amazing holiday. We finished establishing the route in spring, then in autumn we battled quite a bit to free it, but in the end we succeeded.

The climb is short but violent, as the name impies! So here it is: Petit Petò, not exactly our usual style, but the rock is mega! From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. the route basks in the sun, so winter is a good time of yer. We're waiting for confirmation on the grade... so vengaaa!
