Route

As the name impies, Petit Petò is short but intense climb on the Covelo wall. Always beautifully sunny, this is a fantastic spot overlooking the entire Sarca valley perfect for a mid-seasons and in winter.

Getting there

From Arco, head towards Trento / Sarche. Pass through the town of Sarche until you find signs for Vezzano / Valle dei Laghi. Go past Vezzano and, staying on the main road, also pass the restaurant "Al Vecchio Mulino" until you reach Vigolo Baselga. Continue following the signs for Terlago first, then Covelo. Park in the village center.

Access

From the car park in the village center, follow path #612 "Passo San Giovanni" towards Valachel. Continue along the main road which gently climbs to the right, then take a forest road marked by an obvious barrier with an entrance on the right. Continue in this direction until you come across a small stone wall with cairns; follow them to the base of the crag via a steep path. 25 minutes.
