At the Rive Gauche of the Argentière Glacier (Mont Blanc), massimo faletti and Enrico Lovato have established 'Volevo essere un duro'. Lovato's report details this challenging and stunning mixed climb located in the Highlands sector, repeated the same day by Davide Cattani and Claudio Marchetti.

On the west face of Cerro Piergiorgio in Patagonia, Italian alpinists Matteo Della Bordella, Dario Eynard, and Mirco Grasso have completed Gringos Locos. The route was first attempted in 1995 by Maurizio Giordani and Luca Maspes, who had managed to climb more than three-quarters up the face.
