Video: Tim Emmet is Mad For It
The video portrait of inspirational British climber Tim Emmet.
Tim Emmett is one of the true all-rounders the the vertical world. Born in 1974, the Brit has climbed some of the hardest trad routes in the world, redpointed up to 8c+ sport climbs, pioneered Deep Water Soloing and Para Alpinism (which combines climbing and BASE jumping) when these were in their embryonic stages. He's been nominated for the Piolet D'Or for his new route up the East Face on Kedar Dome (6840m) in the Indian Himalaya with Ian Parnell, and developed new "spray ice" routes at the breathtaking Helmcken Falls... The list of his achievements is endless, but all feats have one thing in common: his boundless, contagious enthusiasm.
