La Pedriza in Spain is one of the world's premier destinations for slab climbing. Located about 1 hour north of Madrid, its rough granite actually offers all kinds of climbing, from short boulders to complex sports climbs, trad climbs, multi-pitches and even the odd aid climb. Above all though, La Pedrizia is home to some of the finest slab climbs, wherw holds are often little more than optical illusions.
