Around 9a, Stefano Carnati

With Action Directe, Goldrake, Underground to name just three, the Italian climber Stefano Carnati has proven he can climb 9a. This video is dedicated not to these climbs, but to this mythical grade in sport climbing.

Stefano Carnati began amazing climbers as a young boy. Aged 12 he was already making a name for himself. Now Stefano is 19 and he's climbedplenty of routes "around" 9a. This video retraces the path that has led him there. The same path that, as had been said before, is the actual way. And that's why these images look into the future, towards the road still untrodden.
