After yesterday’s news of Adam Ondra completing the first-ever onsight of Il Maratoneta, the historic 8b+ at Paklenica in Croatia freed in 1987 by Maurizio 'Manolo' Zanolla and Ondra’s subsequent first ascent of the variation start called Genius Loci, here’s the video of the first free ascent of this new 9a. Starting to the left, the new combination provides some pure power resistance climbing and links up with the crux of Il Maratoneta.
