The six great north faces in the Alps: Cima Grande di Lavaredo, Pizzo Badile, Eiger, Matterhorn, Petit Dru and Grandes Jorasses. In September 2021 Simon Gietl from the South Tyrol (Italy) and Switzerland's Roger Schäli embarked on this undertaking and, to add a hint of spice, they travelled from one mountain to the next by bike. The two mountaineers required just 18 days to complete what in some respects is considered the Grand Slam of alpinism, and their efforts are documented in this great short film by Frank Kretschmann and Tom Dauer.
