Watch Filip Babicz set the Pizzo Badile North Ridge record

The video of Filip Babicz setting the new speed record on the North Ridge of Pizzo Badile in 42 minutes and 52 seconds on 10 September 2021.

On Friday 10 September 2021 Filip Babicz climbed the North Ridge of Pizzo Badile in an astounding 42 minutes and 52 seconds. At the time we wrote that his ascent defied comprehension, and the short film published below confirms our initial reaction. The speed, the void, the dimension of the mountain are striking. As is the 38-year-old's total, unconditional commitment, clearly written all over his exhausted face on the summit. Impressive.
