In 2019 36-year-old Nepalese mountaineer Nirmal 'Nims' Purja took the climbing world by storm with his ascents of all 14 eightthousanders in the world in less than 7 months. The historic achievement, carried out with supplementary oxygen and including three dangerous high altitude rescues, was at the limit of what is possibile and as of 29 November his extraordinary story will be released on Netflix in the film 14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible. Directed by Torquil Jones, it is also produced by Jimmy Chin and Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi who in 2019 won an Oscar for their film Free Solo featuring Alex Honnold.
