German photographer Klaus Fengler has won the fourth edition of Arco Rock Star, the annual climbing photography competition that takes place during the Adventure Days in Arco, Italy. Federico Ravassard placed second, Matteo Pavana third, while Luca Rigo won the Open category.
The Arco Rock Star international climbing photography contest will be held from 10 to 12 May 2019 at Arco, Italy. Registration is still open for the OPEN category. The event takes place during the Adventure Awards Days festival; Stefano Gregoretti will receive the Best Adventurer award.

The Open category was won by Graziano Galvagni for the second year running, while the La Sportiva Anniversary Prize was won by Matteo Pavana.

At the Spanish crag Siurana Stefano Ghisolfi has pulled off the second ascent of the 9b sports climb La Capella, freed by Adam Ondra in 2011. This is the 24-year-old Italian’s fourth climb of this difficulty.
