British rock climber Mina Leslie-Wujastyk has made the first female ascent of Bat Route 8c at Malham Cove, England.

During a quick visit to Britain Adam Ondra made the first repeats of two Steve McClure testpieces: Overshadow 9a+ and Rainshadow 9a at Malham Cove. At the same crag the Czech climber also carried out the first on-sight of an 8c in Britain, Bat Route.

British climber Steve McClure has added a linked Cry Freedom to Predator at Malham Cove, Yorkshire.

Young Adam Ondra is visiting Britain, in particular the climbs at Malham Cove and Kilnsey where he has climbed and attempted some of the hardest routes in the country established by Steve McClure.
