The 25th edition of the night ski mountaineering competition Sellaronda Skimarathon was won on Friday 25 March 2022 by the teams Katia Tomatis - Elena Nicolini and Matteo Eydallin - Michele Boscacci.

After a two-year stop, the Sellaronda Skimarathon will take place in the Italian Dolomites tomorrow. As per usual the most famous night ski mountaineering competition will cross four mountain passes, Campolongo, Pordoi, Sella and Gardena and cover a total distance of 42 kilometers and +2700m altitude gain.

Corinna Ghirardi from Italy and christian hoffmann from Austria won both the Vertical and Individual races of the ISMF Master World Championships, held last weekend in Piancavallo, Italy.

On Friday 12 March 2021 at the classic Pierra Menta ski mountaineering competition the teams Alba De Silvestro & Giulia Murada and Michele Boscacci & Davide Magnini were crowned Long Distance World Champions.

The first stage of the ISMF Ski Mountaineering World Cup 2017 took place at Font Blanca in Andorra last weekend. Saturday’s Individual race was won by France’s Laetitia Roux and Germany’s Anton Palzer, while Sunday’s Vertical race was won by Sweden’s Emelie Forsberg and Switzerland’s Marti Werner.
