When on 22 July 2018 Andrzej Bargiel carried out the first complete ski descent of K2, he was as Jimmy Chin rightly explained at the "very pinnacle of ski mountaineering". In order to achieve this extraordinary feat the 30-year-old Polish mountaineer was supported by his teammates Janusz Gołąb, Piotr Pawlus and Marek Ogień, as well as his brother Bartłomiej Bargiel who masterminded the game-changing drone that would proved vital to the expedition’s success.
